Since 2002, Markus Schulz has delivered a slice of his trademark sound through his weekly radio show,Global DJ Broadcast that is featured on over 20 FM and online syndication partners in the process.
The World Tour returns to Global DJ Broadcast this week and catches Markus Schulz amidst his usual busy summer schedule. And following the beautiful surroundings of Bali last month, the World Tour travels across the Pacific and touches down in one of our favorite destinations, the Canadian city of Toronto; where last weekend Markus not only graced the Digital Dreams festival, but also took control of the official afterparty taking place at Uniun Nightclub. And it is the afterparty where our focus lands for the live recording. The big tunes have been played all day long at the festival, so it was time to head down that rabbithole on a journey.

Summer is in earnest and on a transatlantic trip, Markus Schulz delved into another weekly Global DJ Broadcast journey. And after weeks of teasing and speculation, this week was the one chosen to finally reveal the next Dakota single taken from the audiovisual project The Nine Skies, titled In Search of Something Better.
Markus also presents Coldharbour World Premieres from Solid Stone and Gai Barone, along with new music from Bobina, Arkham Knights, Marco V, The Thrillseekers, Solarstone & Orkidea, Nifra and more. Markus is joined by popular German trance DJ Ronski Speed for the guestmix, ahead of his appearance at the upcoming Coldharbour Night in Los Angeles on July 15.
Fans in Kansas City can catch Markus this Friday night at Mosaic, and then on Saturday at the Dreams Festival in Toronto, which will be recorded for the World Tour that airs next week. Following a hectic weekend encompassing Ibiza, Barcelona and the Luminosity Beach Festival, Markus Schulz retreated to calmer scenes in Romania during the week, and utilised his time well in constructing another packed edition of Global DJ Broadcast.
On the show this week, no less than four Coldharbour World Premieres, from Solid Stone, Arkham Knights, Dylhen and Amir HUssain. New music also comes from Nifra, Dave Neven, 4 Strings, The Thrillseekers, Robert Nickson, Danilo Ercole and much more. And Markus is also joined for a guestmix debut by Mota-Mota remixer Talla 2XLC.

All roads lead to Las Vegas for one of the biggest weeks in the dance music calendar all year long for the massive Electric Daisy Carnival, and Markus Schulz is already there preparing, including assembling another packed Global DJ Broadcast. On the show this week, he premieres the new Talla 2XLC remix of Mota-Mota, along with a Coldharbour premiere from Dave Neven; as well as new music from Ferry Corsten, Arkham Knights, 4 Strings, Airscape, Dennis Sheperd and more. The second hour features a welcome return from good friend and progressive trance maestro Gai Barone, who premieres his remix of Markus’ track Waiting, from the upcoming Watch the World Deluxe Edition.

The action comes direct from a packed Sky Garden nightclub, and includes the latest single Running Up That Hill, as well as a sneaky new remix of Mota-Mota.

The entire dance music world was deeply saddened with the news that Robert Miles had passed away. With his track Children, along with albums such as Dreamland, he has and will continue to inspire future generations, and his impact on trance music cannot be understated. Markus Schulz pays tribute to him on this week’s Global DJ Broadcast with two of his classic pieces.
