Drunks and Dragons - Dungeons and Dragons 5e Actual Play

Y'all ever get that felling like you are in a cheesy action film? Maybe it is the man with the eye patch. Or maybe it is the blaring guitars in the distance but I will tell you what, this whole "Save Cheryl she has been kidnapped" thing sounds familiar. Luckily we have our new Ettin ally (...allies?) to help us with any potential hurdles. And since we are only about half way through our story their has to be some sort of conflict or rising action before we get to the sweet release which is the denouement we all crave.

Our rowdy monster crew gets let in on a secret tip that someone very important to them has been snatched. When you meet a new friend you just have to establish a baseline level of trust. Trust is so important these days, what with the dreaded Nareevians taking the shape of potential new friends but they are actually trying to siphon off the magical energies from a nice Elven city and overthrow a city that is often times described as a "Jewel of the East." And, yes, this baseline trust can be the wholesale murder of your enemies, but be sure to keep it within reason.

All great plans must answer a single question that is often overlooked - how the hell are you going to extract yourself from your current pickle that you have created for yourself?
