Great play, and a very readable translation. I thought from the beginning that this was too much like Milton's Paradise Lost for my liking, but it turns out this was published not long before.

Prachtige scenes en vooral aandacht voor de weifelende houding van Lucifer. Maar niet altijd consistent uitgewerkt. Het slot met de lange vertellende episoden doet de dramatische spanning instorten. Probleem zijn ook de zware alexandrijnen
