A Tree with a Bird in It is a collection of poems about ... you guessed it- a tree with a bird in it. The overall story is the author, Margaret Widdemer, has a tree in her yard with a grackle sitting in it. She invites a poet's society to gather under the tree and recite poems inspired by the tree a
