Dragged on at certain parts but oh my God do I hate Lucy. She is such a brat and Jane really needed to put her foot down and put herself first for once.

Where I work it is decorated in antiques and there are quite a few old books. I brought this one home to read and enjoyed it very much. It was written in 1912.

Great story, set on LBI with lots of references to Beach Haven and Barnegat Light House and Barnegat Inlet.

This was my great grandma's favorite book. Reading it made me feel connected with her, but I think we would have disagreed on it's quality.
