My favorite books are written around the turn of the 20th century. Love the way the stories are constructed, the intrigue, the understated mystery - great stuff! This author is my go-to when I need a break from the monotony of action thrillers (sounds contradictory, but one becomes inured to the sam

A classic 1920's mystery novel. There is a love interest, action, and an interesting twist. Worth reading
