Cavalleria Rusticana is my second opera of the week. I went to see Fedora on Wednesday. It's agonies like these that make life wonderful!

Saw met performance rater good to read the CR libretto before hand. Short and powerful in its simplicity
Actors add so much to it.

A well written piece of opera, short and sweet. I have sung in this opera twice, and even though one show was quite traumatic, the music remains ever new and effective.
