I got this book at goodwill for $3 and it kinda wasn’t worth it. at least it’s aesthetic
The main story, Rector of St Marks, is a little meh. I just don’t get why men in books ✨almost ✨ marry women they don’t actually love because the lady they do actually love they can’t have. Just stay single?

I have mixed feelings about this story. I enjoyed the story, but it seemed as though the ending was rushed. I was very disappointed to find The Rector if St. Mark’s really only takes up half the book - the other half is a bunch of short stories. I’m not a big fan of short stories, so I would’ve pref
