Book Overview:
I smelled the trouble the moment I stepped on the lift and took the long ride up the side of the "Lachesis." There was something wrong. I couldn't put my finger on it.

An action filled story with a ending that surprised me.
The narrator is well spoken and conveys emotion well, but stumbles occasionally. The recording is clear with no background noise, there is a slight echo.
A snapshot of a far future civil war, focusing on the military actions of one space ship with marginal impact on the greater war. Everything about this story is succinct and effective, the focus being on the character of the ships commander and the expectations of the crew. Great little tale.
A sci fi story about a space battle.
Reads like a ww2 naval battle. The reason for the war is a little thin? The end is a little abrupt.
Good action, predictable ending, good read. I can envision Bogart or Wayne in the movie version.
If you .enjoy envisioning yourself in the narrator's shoes you'll enjoy this battle of the future. Have fun with this one.
