Written in 1913, this book follows the adventures of four friends when they camp (in a cabin) on land owned by the father of one of the girl. Coincidences abound, but lead to happy endings.

I have a couple of these books that were given to me by my grandmother. The inside covers are marked with her sister's (or mother's - I'm not sure) name and the years she got them - 1931 and 1932! Needless to say, they've been loved, and aren't in spectacular shape, but they're still holding togethe

This juvenile fiction did not age well. Originally published in 1913, it is over a hundred years old. The dialogue is prissy and affected. Maybe young people really spoke like this at that time. However, present day readers would struggle to relate to this group of characters.
