A short science fiction story. Poul Anderson wrote a time travel novel based off TAU as well. Just goes to show what missing just one mathematical concept can do.

If you judged only by what you see on GoodReads you might think Robert H. Wilson was some big time science fiction author from back in the day. A haunting sci fi short story with a slightly implausible fight scene. There wasn't much character development so I didn't feel particularly sorry for the protagonist, but I enjoyed the story nonetheless. The aliens were quite cool.

This is a surprisingly sophisticated science fiction story from the early 1930s.
