Very sweet old time cowboy story with a message about the obvious cure to loneliness. It doesn't take long to read and it's fun to watch the rootless cowpoke grow a bit as he realizes there are other people out there with problems, too.
An enjoyable story for the Advent season.
Sweet story of a cowboy on holiday who starts out looking for drink and maybe revenge, but finds Christmas instead.
Maybe because it was an audio book, it was a tad hard to follow. I may have liked it more if I'd read it on my own.
This story seems strange today, in the age of oversized government reaching into everyone's personal lives. In it, a cowboy comes to town at Christmastime and comes across the child of a woman he once knew. The kid is living on his own and shining shoes in the streets of Denver to get by, so the cow
