1920s pulp fiction. Enjoyable, but a little slow at parts for some reason. It had very interesting views on the Middle East from that time period with some of the expected prejudices of the time being present. Overall, I enjoyed it.

A good pulp era adventure story from a pretty much forgotten writer now-a-days. Recommended

This was an awesome book. What fascinated me with the book is the details in describing places he went in the story, how it was in Jerusalem and surrounding places after WW I. And also how curious one can be, so curious that you willingly risk you life just to be there when something is happening.
