Old style adventure
A fine adventure written in the style of the time. It is a very fast read and I can imagine some young adventurer to be devouring it in a single sitting.
Fantastic
I loved this book.well written with a great plot.lots of adventure and very clean.no bad language or sex scenes. Even children will like this.
Really quite tedious. I only made it to the end because it was comparatively short. So many missed opportunities to make this a really exciting boys-own novel, but all unrealised. Even when something dramatic does happen, it is dealt with so quickly and blandly that there is never any sense of dange
