An old fashioned look at hunting dogs. It reads like an extended issue of "Full Cry" magazine, and is mostly anecdotes from others about training different types of hunting dogs. Still, a nice look at the old days.
Thoroughly enjoyed this reading. The detail of breed classification, style and manner of many dogs. Mostly a compendium of collected articles and testimonials of fellow hunters. The stories told, in association with the information is both a highlight of comparative judgements and the value of life
