“But suppose we can’t find the path?” asked Judy.

“You’ll remember it, won’t you?”

Judy thought she would, but she wasn’t too sure. She and Lois both argued that it would be better to inquire at the house. Lois knew Helen Brandt slightly.

This book in the series includes some old friends that haven't been seen for awhile as well as Judy working with her brother, Horace, to get themselves in danger. Add in Blackberry, Judy's cat, and the story is a quick read and, while maybe not one of the best in the series, it is still enjoyable.

This review is from my 8 year old daughter. We have been reading this series together:

The book was so much fun and it was written beautifully. I felt like I was in the book.

This story seemed very short, and also, for a supposed children's book, rather dark.

Judy's friends Lois and Lorraine are visiting, and Lorraine seems depressed, so to cheer her up, Judy begins telling her friends about the summer before she met them, and a fountain her grandparents took her to see
