This book is set in and around Skowhegan Maine. It was fun to see places mentioned. The series had a real Nancy Drew feel yet not. I never liked the Hardy Boys so maybe it was like them as well. Lots of adventure
The only disturbing part was the oldest Golden boy killed not one but two dogs, with no
Hmmm...didn't like this one quite as much as the first one I read. The boys were fine, but the plot seemed a bit cobbled-together and was pretty full of coincidences. 2.5 stars
