I enjoyed this one as a historical curiosity, both in content and in context--the fact that it was published in 1879 makes it both charming and...infuriating. I especially enjoyed the early sections, especially the bits about the Amazons, but ran out of steam about half way through when every anecdo
not so much a narrativist view of history more a vision of Awesome and Awesome women throughout history .
