Good start but rest of book was dumb.

I like Anna Katharine Green books. This one started out so promisingly (mysterious circumstances around a will, lawyer searching for missing heirs) and ended up in a melodramatic mush with unsympathetic characters doing dumb things. Save yourself the time and ski

This is the second book I've read by Anna Green and I enjoyed it. Her stories are full of mystery and written in an elegant manner, true to the time period in which the story is set.
