Not a bad story where Balzac gives his version of a perfect society or one at least where the people are happy and in their place! A soldier visits an isolated valley where a doctor through hard work has improved the lot of the local community selfishly.
The book is very pro Napoleon with the soldier

شخصیت اصلی کتاب پزشکی بود که در دوره جوانی اشتباهات زیادی کرده بود، ولی وقتی وارد دهکده میشه، مردی افتاده میشه و به مردم خدمت میکنه، همین موضوع باعث میشه که دهکده پیشرفت کنه و نام نیکی از اون به یاد بمونه.
