فهذا الأسلوب البلاغي المنمق بالسجع والمتخلل بالأشعار والأوصاف المتكحل بالحِكم والآثار لا أذكر صادفته سوى في ألف ليلة وليلة، أو في نصوص عربية أصيلة وليس في روايات عن الإفرنج؛ فلم يكن في محله وإن كان جيدًا وجميلًا.
