TARÁS. And where is Michael?
MARTHA. Why, he took hay to the town. It's time he 307was back, but he's not here. Something must have happened.
TARÁS. Why, what should happen?

An underwhelming morality play about the evils of alcohol in two acts. Act One: People talk about the evils of alcohol then get drunk. Act Two: Drunk people sober up and realize that alcohol is evil. The End. This is the dead Russian author version of an After School Special.
Hmm. So it seems drinking is the cause of the problems. This didn't leave me thinking deep after reading or gave me the satisfaction which I get from reading Tolstoy. Oh well.
