A derelict Indian in the remote woods of upstate New York in the 1770s stands between a small group of settlers and a group of Indians that want to slaughter them. A very tense, dramatic story. Good stuff.
What a great story about the emergence of the American Revolution and family members with divided loyalties. This book had great characters, great stories, and wonderful descriptions of life on the American Frontier in the 1770s.
