good, quick read. Often I hear 'poor' people complain about the rich- but they do not realize that many people who abound in wealth began in the very same place; at the bottom. I've been rich AND poor, and each experience has been lesson-filled. I do not complain about my lot, I act. As did Edward B

What a curious little "book"... more of a booklet, something published over 100 years ago in Ladies Home Journal. It reads as a nice little repudiation of materialism and the pleasures (and benefits in terms of character-building) of the simple life.
