Scripture.

Scripture.

Translated at the turn of the 20th Century, this version dispensed with "Bible-speak" except for dialog. Despite its archaic dialog, the translation holds up quite well in the 21st Century.

Extremely clear version of the New Testament written in plain everyday (19th C) English.
