This was a sweet story, although it took a while to figure out where it was going, since "Uncle Titus" didn't really end up playing that much of a role. I like Johanna Spyri’s View of God. I like how she betrays God as good, aware, and loving. This comes through in both Heidi and Uncle Titus.
Uncle Titus and His Visit to the Country is really more about Dora. Dora is the other title for this book. It is a beautiful story about an orphaned girl who finds a forever home. I really enjoyed it.
