It has been found necessary to slightly alter the original arrangement of the songs; "Pig and Pepper" and "Twinkle, twinkle, little Bat!" have been transposed, and "Hush-a-by, Lady" has been placed last instead of before "Queen Alice."

Memories

This is great for anyone who loves the songs from the Wonderland. How it brings back memories from my childhood.

Published in 1921. It contains songs arranged from the various poems, with additional materials, from both Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass.

From Alice in Wonderland the songs are: How doth the little Crocodile; You are Old, Father William;

Twinkle, twinkle, little Bat!; Pig and Pepp

Alice again visits wonderland joining a game of Chess. The book is a bit confusing if you are not acquainted with the game itself. It is full of fun, poetry, wit, and social humor. I cannot say I understood it all. It was a fun read. If I ever get a chance I may have to read the spark notes on it.

I picked this up in a charity shop and it was well worth the £1.49! It's lovely to have all of the songs/poems from Alice in one place. My daughter loves to read them to me and I to her.
