The Bushy Brown Beards were playing at a little club one night when in walks Razz Peacock, the flamboyant and ostentatious drummer in one of the most popular rock groups in the world, Abstain from Abstinence. 
 
I furtively sidled over and tried to catch his attention. Razz seemed to be enjoying the Bushy Brown Beards’ performance, so I leaned over and casually informed him that I was their manager. He smiled and piped up, “Hey, man, this band is mondo abundant!” 
 “Thank you. In fact, they’re playing my songs. Songs that I wrote for them.”
 
“Really?” Razz said. “I’m impressed! They’re cool tunes. I like the hooks and bridges.” 
 Propped up by Razz’s kind and sincere words, I couldn’t help but reveal the dispiriting truth that the songs weren’t actually doing that well out in the real world. “I have to tell you, Mr. Peacock, as hard as it is to believe, the Bushy Brown Beards just haven’t caught on with the public. Our spins have plateaued on the streaming platforms and radio, man.”
 
Razz replied with concern, “I don’t understand. These songs are little gems, and the band is great!”
 
I agreed and confessed, “I think I’ve Peter Principled out.”
 
Razz said, “Oh, I know that term. You’ve risen to the top of your level of incompetence, right?”
 
“Yes!” I cried. “I’ve tried and tried, and now I cry uncle. I believe that with better promotion, a publicist, a marketing company, and a booking agent who can get them into some high-profile gigs, they would take off! I’m certain the payback is there, but I just don’t have the brains or financial brawn that they need.”
 
Mr. Peacock turned and looked me squarely in the eyes. “Well, great balls of cookie dough! I have some cashola to invest! I agree with your prediction that the Bushy Brown Beards are going to blow up. Do you mind if I call them the BBBs?”
I gagged, inhaling some saliva. After a mild coughing fit, I said, “No, sir, I don’t mind at all.
