Pradėjus skaityti - sustoti yra gana sunku! Thomas Mayne Reid pasižymi įspūdingais aplinkos aprašymais ir dramatiškų gyvenimų/istorijų pateikimu per humoro prizmę. Šio autoriaus romanas "Kvarteronė" yra sąlyginai lengvas su pilna nuotykių, įtampos istorija, be galo gražiai išvystytais charakteriais.
Ką aš tikrai imu suprasti, kad XIX amžiaus literatūra man yra pernelyg dramatiška.
