Sweet

Aww this is such a dear book. There are sad things about it, but it is so sweet! I just love that grandma!

It's a Victorian moral children's story, and as such is well written. It is sweetly evangelistic but of course has the death of a loved one as so many of this sort of tale. Poppy is a sweet child who is almost superhuman in her ability to keep a good attitude under stress.
