Some pretty interesting stories. Most of them explain things like why deer have antlers, what causes thunder, or why swamps are wet, etc. Its fascinating to hear the mythological explanations of these things. There are some moralizing tales, but they are less common and the moralizing theme is subsi
I think it is very interesting to read Native American stories because many of them don't have the same structure that I am used to. Occasionally I'm tempted to ask "what's the point?", but usually the story is still very intriguing, maybe even more so because it doesn't do what I expect.
