A pretty good farce, for its time. It lacks the wit of Wilde, but it's pretty entertaining none the less. I don't regret reading it, I'd probably go watch it live at a push, but I doubt I'll be rereading it again anytime soon. It has the faults of many Victorian plays - a stuffiness that can
