This book follows the life of the Alcott family, that which inspired 'Little Women' based upon extensive family journals and letters. The book is really good for putting flesh onto the bones of the family, and really shows the inspiration Louisa May was exposed to when writing her novels. It is real

Didn’t really care for it much. Written very old fashioned. Discovered it has several variations. This on is from 1914. Big oops on my part

Louisa May Alcott is a great inspirational character. Everything about her life is so encouraging. The Alcott's were a historical family indeed; all of them have such heartening talents and they seem to be so modern. Even though they are from 19th century they feel to be a part of our 21st century.
