Good book that has some of Lincoln's most famous speeches & letters, as well as some other writings that give some depth to his character & personality. The summaries of the book, each part, & each piece of writing give the readers a better background of the history & significance of each piece. Gre

A very accessible book with short backgrounds of the speech, along with some history of Lincoln himself.
I enjoyed reading this book. I was only aware of the most famous speeches of Abraham Lincoln which were the "Gettysburg Address" and his "Emancipation Proclamation" so it was interesting to read the others speeches he wrote, along with some of his letters as well.
