Enjoyable HF romance set in New York’s Guilded Age which is one of my favorite time periods and cities.

Good chemistry and a premise inspired by several real life characters— a bonus for historical accuracy!

I liked this one. My first Joanna Shupe read. I hovered between 3.5 to 4 stars - "liked" to "really liked".

I usually prefer HRs set in Regency or Georgian England, or the old West. So this was something different for me. But I found the setting intriguing and interesting. Set in New York in the 1880
