Although the story line is well built, the characters are interesting, this novel is just not as good as many by William Le Queux. For me, this one is simply to schmaltzy (mushy). So it goes.
My 8th William le Queux novel; not one of hiss best but worth reading
Good mystery novel with old style romantic dialogue
Two strikes and your out.
This is the second book I have read from William LeQueux. Like the other book I had read it had a great build up, lots of mystery and tension and you keep wondering how it will turn out. The turning out part is a disappointment as it does not live up to the buildup. Actions
