It was interesting stories but the writing left a little to be desired.
It was the audio that I listened to and it wasn't very interesting
I learnt a lot about historical women from this book. Although it is written in a style from the past, it is still interesting and a good read.
An interesting read, several of these girls I hadn't heard about.
It's naturally coloured by the time in which it's written, Brooks adds a bit of moral at the end of each story, but I think a modern writer would as well, though in a different way, focusing on different things.
I see that some thinks
Good book to understand the women of the past who were heroes of their time. Writing is a little outdated and at some places makes for difficult reading
