A great example of the Scout genre, with enough interesting characters to keep you going. I feel that the main character is a bit too good to be true, but I loved reading it - I only wish the others in this series were available on e-book!

historical fiction

Might be fun for some. I found it to be an insipid example of proselytizing Women's Literature that curdled my tea and cakes after the first chapter.

Excellent book

This book was great! It was small enough but it kept my attention. I could picture the scouts doing all the activities.
