Great story! I love Ballantyne's historical novels, especially for his refreshingly light writing style as well as the optimism and positive energy emanating from his characters. I had a lot of joy reading this book and I learned plenty about the viking world and history. Fun and inspiring!

An interesting history lesson. I'd like to read another book by Ballantyne.
