I don't know what I expected but not this.

A nice short book about the problems that infinite wealth can cause. You know how it is going to end, but it's still interesting to see how the characters get there. I was positively surprised.

A cautionary tale of what can happen when too much wealth is available easily. Rather sad, actually. I skimmed through the last half so as not to prolong the agony.

Raffles Haw, a man who wanted only to do good in the world. He was brilliant enough to learn a way to make a great deal of money, and wanted nothing more than to use that money to better things for those less fortunate.
