It seems to us now that no one could possibly have had any happiness in a world so full of dangers, but you see Grannie and all the rest of the clan did not know that life could be any different. This collection of stories is told through the eyes of two siblings that manage to find their way to different times and places to learn about the different cultures and people found in each. Each one is written to show their uniqueness and the heritage they have passed down.

It was really interesting to find out about the tribes of the olden days. It was like reading out of an encyclopaedia, only much more interesting. But it was also like reading out of an encyclopaedia which tells stories, which is kind of weird. It was a great book. I would really like to read it aga
