Pretty typical boys' war/adventure story from the WWI era. Exciting moments and some fun banter, while as usual, our heroes manage to stumble into every adventure imaginable. :) Had a touch of realism about the horrors of war, though.

A book written for boys from 1918, set in World War I, I read this one no later than my early high school years. Don't remember the plot but do remember enjoying it.
