Book Excerpt:
. . .Natural Law, Death, p. 162.

April 9th. What men deny is not a God. It is the correspondence. The very confession of the Unknowable is itself the dull recognition of an Environment beyond themselves, and for which they feel they lack the correspondence. It is this want that makes their God the Unknown God. And it is this that makes them DEAD. Natural Law, Death, p. 163.

April 10th. God is not confined to the outermost circle of environment, He lives and moves and has His being in the whole. Those who only seek Him in the further zone can only find a part. The Christian who knows not God in Nature, who does not, that is to say, correspond with the whole environment, most certainly is partially dead. Natural Law, Death, p. 163.

April 11th. After you have been kind, after Love has stolen forth into the world and done its beautiful work, go back into the shade again and say nothing about it. The Greatest Thing in the World.

Much of Drummond's work remains relevant today, even if he is almost entirely forgotten. This book is a daily devotional with quotes taken from his books and talks. It is only a book worth having/using if you are already thoroughly aquatinted with his thought/teaching.

Indeed, what lies in this book are countless beautiful thoughts.

Quotations from Natural Law and The Greatest Thing in the World are written as daily verses which can be read by anybody. It goes with the environment, death, life, and any possible things that seeks mainly the thoughts of everyone.

Just a day to day thought of the day taken from his various works and lectures

Actually it's no less than 4.5 star. H. Drummond knows his stuff.
