This was an interesting book, overall. The stories were spine chilling plus the discussions on astral projection were somewhat thought-provoking.
I would happily recommend this book to anyone interested in folklore or the paranormal.

Late Victorian era listing of "reputable" ghost sightings. Ghost stories have definitely gotten more convoluted since then.

Interchangeably silly, shockingly violent, faintly creepy and thought provoking, this book about animal ghosts may go too far in its assumption that animals are endowed with souls in the same way that humans are, but it does provide some very interesting insights into the history of man/animal relat

This was quite outstanding paranormal reading for me (and I've read A LOT on this subject, believe me). The stories in this book are compelling and some alleged hauntings described by the author ended up sounding pretty creepy. However, there were some stories that sounded too exaggerated and seemed
