Mrs. Peter Rabbit

Thornton W. Burgess

Book Overview:

A wonderful book in which we meet the lucky little bunny who becomes Mrs. Peter Rabbit! This is one of many delightful animal books written by Thornton W. Burgess. I grew up reading and enjoying these tales of talking animals with fun and varied personalities. Peter Rabbit is a character loved by all, and this charming tale recounts the adventures of meeting, wooing, and marrying Mrs. Peter Rabbit.

Super cute read

Loved reading this to my girls at bedtime. The illustrations are cute but my youngest wished there were more in the book. Can't wait to read more about Peter rabbit.

We hadn't read this Burgess book before. It takes place after Johnny Chuck and Old Man Coyote and before Bowser the Hound. Cute, typical Burgess story. We enjoyed it.

Good story, I like the poems throughout. Peter Rabbit met hindering characters, yet he got a good wife in Fuzzy-Tail helping him believe in a good future.
