বইটা আমার কাছে দারুণ লেগেছে। হেনরি রাইডার হ্যাগার্ডের অন্যান্য বইয়ের মত একাধিক জনরার মিশেলে বইটা আসলেই দুর্দান্ত। ঐতিহাসিক উপন্যাস, অ্যাডভেঞ্চার, যুদ্ধ নাকি নিখাদ প্রেমের গল্প যেভাবেই বইটা বিশ্লেষণ করি না কেন গল্পটা সুন্দর। বইটা বিশাল হলেও একটানা পড়ে যাওয়ার মত, লেখনী সুন্দর। সু-অনুবাদক ইসমাইল
অসাধারণ লাগলো বইটা। ইতিহাস, এডভেঞ্জার, যুদ্ধ,প্রেম,ভ্রাতৃত্ব অনেক কিছুর মিশেল এই দুর্দান্ত বইটা। গডউইন আর উলফের শেষ পরিণতি নিয়ে ভালো খারাপ দুইটা অনুভূতি ফুটে উঠেছে। সেতুর যুদ্ধের পার্টে স্নায়ুতে চাপ পড়ছিলো অনেক। মনে হচ্ছিলো আমিও সেখানে দর্শক হিসেবে আছি। দারুণ লাগলো। ৩ দিনেই বইটা শেষ করতে পেরেছি।
